About Final Draft

Marketing and Writing Services for Craft Breweries

Final Draft Marketing is based in Kingston, New York, and run by Melissa Dempsey.

About Melissa:

Melissa Dempsey is a marketer and published writer with more than 10 years of professional experience in writing about and promoting beer and breweries.
“Living in the Hudson Valley, I’ve seen the rise and expansion of the craft beer revolution and how it can affect a region in a positive way. Breweries do more than make beer; they create local jobs, support farms and small businesses, help local economies, and provide a place to gather with fresh craft brews. I started Final Draft as a way to utilize my writing and marketing skills to benefit craft breweries—my goal is to help you share the right messages with your target audience to promote your business. Cheers!” — Melissa D.

Favorite craft beers: It’s ever-changing, but right now I’m into Sap House by West Kill Brewing, Super Soft by Sloop Brewing Co., Heady Topper by The Alchemist.
Favorite food-beer pairings: Pizza and pale ale, jambalaya and an IPA, chocolate truffles and a smooth oatmeal stout, a pils and some wings or fried chicken. (All subject to change over time!)
Go-to breweries: Being based in NY, my go-to breweries to visit are in the NE region. West Kill Brewing Co. (West Kill, NY), Notch Brewing (Salem, MA), Newburgh Brewing (Newburgh, NY), The Alchemist (VT), Arrowood Farms (Accord, NY), Kingston Standard Brewing (Kingston, NY), Keegan Ales (Kingston, NY), Rough Cut Brewing (Kerhonkson, NY).
